2010 was a good year for the  Pickwick Parrot Head Club.  We lived up to the motto"Party with a Purpose" this year.  As a group PPHC donated over $11,300 to worthwhile causes in 2010 and have set a modest goal of increasing that to $12,500 for 2011.

If you consider that we are headquartered in an unincorporated area and compete with several local civic clubs with the same goals you folks have done an outstanding job.  The businesses in our community have always contributed to our causes and helped support our events and we should always remember to patronize those who support us and to thank them for their genorosity.

We are looking forward to your continued membership and support of the PPHC.  It is time to pay your dues for 2011.  Dues are $25 for a single and $35 for a married couple.  You may pay those dues in person at the First Friday Social set for Friday night January 7 at Jon's Pier.  Irene Barnes and Linda Rook will be delighted to take your money or you may mail your check to: PPHC, P O Box 273, Pickwick Dam, TN, 38365. If you joined as a new member in the last quarter of 2010 you are considered paid for 2011.  We already have our 1st new members for 2011, Savannah, Kimberly, and Darryl Worley have signed up.  They were very grateful for our club's donation to the Darryl Worley Foundation/Cancer Treatment Center.
